Propagate

With the propagate tool, you can teach vocabulary within any piece of digital text. You can highlight the words you would like explained, and a popup box will teach it to your students. The tool can pick the words for you, but it is better if you pick them yourself because you know the comprehension level of your own students and/or your own comprehension and vocabulary levels.

GoClass

GoClass is a cloud-based learning and teaching tool that you can use with your iOS device. It makes giving instructions a little more hands-on, and allows for a learning experience on mobile devices and Mac devices. It helps students and learners connect with the material in a more full and meaningful way, whilst still allowing the teacher full control over the content being shown and taught. The app is free, so it may be downloaded without difficulty by students and by teachers and tutors. It is easy to use and highly rated.

ThinkBinder

With ThinkBinder, you can create discussion groups and study groups for free. You can collaborate either student-to-student, or instructor-to-student(s). People may interact in real time, share notes, upload videos, and swap files in a secure environment. The tool has a whiteboard, supports text chats, and helps students and tutors work through problems and issues with ease.

iClicker

The iClicker tool is a very intuitive student response system that allows teachers to test their students via their mobile devices. An instructor may ask a question via a presentation device, and the students answer the questions with a smart device or remote device. It is ideal for non-standard teaching sessions, such as if there is a large study hall where students cannot comfortably raise their hands and answer questions.

The Ivory Research Tool

There are many ways the Ivory Research Tools may be used. Students can use the tools for proofreading services and learn how essays should be written, and teachers can use the tools to create their lesson plans and course materials. They also have other services that may be useful to tutors and teachers, such as software development, statistical analysis and so forth.

RabbleBrowser

The RabbleBrowser tool is a curated and collaborative file sharing and web-browsing tool that will help you share and learn in a groups setting. It is an Apple iOS tool, and it allows a tutor to determine the group-browsing experience. It is a great tool for classrooms, discussion groups, boardrooms, meeting rooms and lecture halls. It can be used as part of a presentation as it allows a teacher or instructor to direct what people see.

MasterMath

Here you will find a number of math tools and resources you can use to help you teach math. There are lessons, worksheets, note-taking tools, quizzes, exams, and home school tools. The tools, videos and resources are free, though the administrators are looking for donations.

Google Blockly

This is a fun visual editor that helps teach the principles of programming. One of the biggest problems that people face then they meet the notion of programming is that it is mostly based on math. All most people see is a series of difficult math problems. With the Google Blockly tool, the math ideas are still strongly embedded, but the tool itself is more like a visual editor. It is reminiscent of putting train tracks down so that you may run a train in whatever directions you wish.

Flocabulary

This is a tool that is most beneficial to younger students. It helps to keep them engaged with a series of educational hip-hop videos and songs. Some students learn better through music or songs, so this is a great tool to try out with your students who may be struggling to grasp certain concepts.

Tricider

This tool allows a team to make decisions faster without having to make numerous calls. It allows a teacher or administrator to make decisions faster by allowing he or she to collect ideas and thoughts from other people quickly. Things may be discussed, and everybody may have a hand in what is decided. All opinions may be included in what is known as a social-decision-making tool.

To teach in the age of technology, you need a mixed approach with plenty of room for flexibility and change. People learn in different ways, and we are past the point of trying to force learning paradigms on students. Nowadays, if a student has trouble learning in one way, then we teach them in another and do our best to ensure they can apply their method of learning to the real world.

Educational tools can help differentiate instruction and provide unique learning experiences to students. Whether students are struggling with math, English, science or any other school subject, there is likely an online educational tool that can assist in helping students learn.

Educational tools can assist in providing personalized learning experiences for students as well, where they can work at their own speed and learning level. Web-based educational tools are widely available, and many are free.
