College is back in session, and that means the higher education tradeshow season is kicking off.
This month, we are headed to the National University Technology Network (NUTN) conference, and to EduComm.
At the NUTN conference, instructors will be able to:
1. Engage with leaders and innovative ideas that will help transform learning by leveraging technology and new processes.
2. Connect with fellow professionals who “get it.”
3. Share what’s really going on at different institutions with fellow professionals who can relate and share their own experiences.
4. Collaborate with colleagues who share a commitment to excellence in online education.
5. Move beyond the superficial hype surrounding education and understand more deeply what’s happening with technology and education.
6. Gain professional development opportunities for emerging leaders in the field.
NUTN bases its two-day conference on networking opportunities between college instructors. Some instructors deliver seminars on how a particular technology solved a challenge in the classroom, while others participate in social groups to share their knowledge and skills on a particular technology.
The entire conference is designed as a consortium to promote problem-solving with technology in the college classroom.
This year’s NUTN conference will be held at the Hilton Savannah Desoto in Savannah, GA from September 21-23, 2015.
We will also be attending the first annual EduComm conference at the end of the month.
EduComm is a two-day conference/tradeshow dedicated to people who manage internal digital campus communication technologies in higher education.
The conference and show floor exhibits will focus on the future of campus communications and education technology, and will showcase kiosks, video walls, mobile applications and more.
EduComm Expo will offer seminars and workshops on best practices during deployment and utilization of educational technologies, as well as explore the latest technologies introduced to higher education.
The conference will debut at the Georgia World Congress Center, and will run from September 30 to October 1, 2015.
We hope to see you there, and stay tuned for show coverage.
