Small and medium-size businesses (SMBs) that want to streamline their HR processes often look to software for help. Many times, though, the software solutions are designed for large enterprises. Ease, however, focuses on the HR needs of SMBs, as well as insurance brokers and insurance carriers.
Insurance broker Brown & Brown Insurance has partnered with Ease to offer the company’s technology solution as part of their benefit offerings, providing a new layer of efficiency and simplicity for their brokers and the employers they service.
“Ease is a respected and innovative product in the less than 250 employee space,” says Steve Piccolino, vice president, National Benefits Technology at Brown & Brown Insurance. “Their small group plan library and quoting engine are bonuses to a great benefits administration interface. We are looking forward to providing this opportunity to the entire Brown & Brown organization.”
Ease brings the benefit enrollment process online, eliminating tedious and complicated paperwork, while increasing employee access to their benefits information. Through this relationship, all Brown & Brown offices will have access to the Ease system throughout the entire country to offer to their customers. This access will particularly benefit the small and mid-sized employers that Brown & Brown brokers support.
The software gives agencies of all sizes the opportunity to digitize their client records, protect their book of business and increase commissions from clients down to two employees. More than 1.5 million employees have used Ease to complete enrollment in more than 16 million benefit plans since inception.
“The benefits and HR industry is rapidly changing as technology continues to prove that there is always a better way of doing things,” concludes David Reid, CEO and co-founder of Ease. “Our goal at Ease is to bring the best benefits and HR solutions to the market by working with some of the most innovative agencies in the country, which is exactly what this partnership does.”
