“My brain was not processing the information fast enough to be able to take adequate notes. I told my professor that I was missing half of the notes and was worried that it would impact my upcoming exam. My professor was able to show me how to use assistive technology to record the class and listen to it once it ended. I would take my notes, then download the audio files, then go to the gym and listen to the lecture while exercising. I could listen as many times as I needed to, and fill in my notes later.”
