“I rely on assistive technology for writing and spelling because words have a hard time getting from my brain to my fingertips. I use a mobile headset to talk out a story or a research paper. I have all of the words in my head. It’s just getting them down on paper that is challenging. I can talk through my paper and have five pages written in an hour with correct spelling. All the words that I want to use will be there. It has made me a better writer.”
