Access Control Technology
Access control technology allows you to monitor people coming in and out of certain building or rooms. The security potential for this is obvious – you don’t want people that shouldn’t be there inside. However, access control solutions can also be used for business purposes. Connect it to payroll to determine exactly how long people worked. Put different restrictions on different areas of the building to ensure only authorized personnel enter certain areas. Or use it to monitor room usage to decide if you’re effectively utilizing your space.
