On this episode of the pro AV podcast from Commercial Integrator: ISE 2018 attendees talk about why they believe in bringing commercial tech end users to trade shows. Don’t miss episode 3 of AV+ !
When integration firms spend money on trade shows, they expect to see some serious ROI. One way to ensure this is to bring along some company.
But not everyone agrees: some integrators feel that bringing end users to trade shows muddies the relationship between integrators and manufacturers. Others just think it’s a ploy to plot larger trade show attendance numbers. Some are just tired of crowds.

The CI Podcast…
The phrase “AV” doesn’t do justice to all of the integration crowd, so we at Commercial Integrator wanted to create an AV podcast that speaks to all of those areas (and more!) under the umbrella of commercial tech integration.
The host, web editor Adam Forziati, has a background in radio and is looking forward to providing listeners with an entertaining, informative audio forum for all topics affecting the AV industry.
On the 3rd episode of AV+…
- Adam and editor-at-large Craig MacCormack examine why some integrators push back on the idea that end users should show up to pro AV integration trade shows.
- We hear from manufacturers and integrators who attended ISE 2018, and hear why they think integrators can benefit from bringing their best customers.
AV+ Podcast Release Schedule
We plan to release a shorter, single-topic episode once every week or two (like this one). But at the end of each month, we’ll also drop a longer, in-depth episode with features like Editor’s Desk, CI Monthly News Spotlight, CI’s Project of the Month, and more.
