According to Sharib, many end users may not know how to use conferencing and collaboration software like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts and more. AV integrators can step in and help organizations scale up their remote work solutions during these difficult times and provide that know-how employees will need as they log on each day to carry out their jobs.

Organizations should take steps to ensure that their employees have the same tools and equipment they had in the office, including:

• Cameras
• Headsets
• Microphones
• Screens
• Unified communication & collaboration software
• Internet bandwidth

As with anything new, there will be a learning curve with a lot of people within your organization, so be prepared to answer a lot of questions as your employees become acquainted with these new technologies.
