The NAB Show Product of the Year Awards recognize the most significant and promising new products and technologies on display for the first time at the NAB Show. Nabbing the award for the Product of the Year in the Best New Hardware Infrastructure Technology category is Adder Technology for its new ADDERLink Infinity 4000 Series (ALIF4000) 4K IP KVM extender.
The ALIF4000 distributes video over a single fiber, delivering high-quality video, audio, and USB to single or dual 4K screens. The product caters to the needs of broadcasters, post-production professionals, and VFX specialists looking to improve their workflow and increase flexibility by making 4K content accessibl from a single position or location.
Full compatibility with the existing ADDERLink Infinity range means the ALIF4000 can be phased in to an existing network without disruption, downtime or the costly need to rip and replace – giving media and broadcast professionals the access to 4K IP KVM when and where they need it most.
“Nominees like Adder are revolutionizing the way people experience media and entertainment,” says NAB executive vice president of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown. “The 2019 NAB Show Product of the Year Awards highlight the best of what’s new at the premier launchpad for breakthroughs at the intersection of media, entertainment and technology.”
Adds Tim Conway, vice president Americas at Adder: “It is great to see the new ALIF4000 Series pick up another coveted industry award since its launch earlier in 2019. We are really excited to see our customers continue to reap the rewards of their existing network but now with the addition of 4K video support.”
Award winners were selected by a panel of industry experts in a variety of categories and were announced at a reception at the Westgate on April 10 as part of the 2019 NAB Show. The 2019 NAB Show was held in Las Vegas, April 18-22.
