Christie’s booth at InfoComm doesn’t look like your typical InfoComm booth. It’s more like an arena, complete with a hockey rink.
“I don’t expect that you’re going to get the same kind of experience that you’ll have at our booth at anybody else’s,” says Arlonna Seymour, Senior Manager of Marketing at Christie. “We’ve actually presented our entire booth as if you had walked into the Christie Center – a hockey arena in this case. That’s what you’re going to see.”
Throughout the booth you’ll find areas that showcase Christie products and how they can be used. A concourse area will show you how digital signage can inform and guide visitors, employees, customers, what have you as they walk through a facility. A club-level area will show you how products can fit into a bar or restaurant type area to push content and branding to customers. A security station will show how mission critical control and surveillance can help keep a facility safe. And in the center, a 3D mapping projection system will throw custom content against a rink showing how large-venue areas can utilize the technology.
While the booth is set up to bring visitors through an arena, from walking through the retail area to grabbing a drink at the bar to sitting in the arena itself, each section shows off the different applications of Christie products that can fit into a number of markets. It’s a macro/micro exhibition of how the products work. From a granular standpoint, attendees can learn about each piece of the system. Then they can learn how that piece fits into the system within the environment, and then how that environment fits into the overall facility. Walking through the booth, visitors get a sense of each product as well as an example of how that product works within real-world applications.
“Everything here sounds like very huge and enormous, but even in each of the elements that are smaller we’re trying to focus on what the individual technologies are,” says Seymour. “Not everything has to be at the top echelon, the highest niche, or the most specialized.”
As for the technology, a number of products will be on display as a part of the booth. The debut of Apex Series LED tiles, MicroTiles, Merit Series indoor LED tiles, the Pheonix, Spyder and new Pandoras Box systems, GS Series, D Series and Boxer projectors, 1DLP, 3DLP, LED, camera capture and show control technology and more will all be on display.
At the end of the tour be sure to check out newly announced Christie Mystique. From Christie:
