Due to restrictions about preserving the art in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, installing permanent audio was not a possibility. Recently, the museum decided to come up with a new solution for their audio needs, utilizing Bose L1 speakers and audio receivers to create the perfect system.
Florida A&M University opened a satellite campus in Crestview Florida. Pharmacy students can now take classes via a Cisco TelePresence unit. All lectures are recorded with the Cisco TelePresence Conference Server. Also included as distance learning technology are Shure lapel microphones, two LD HDTV Flat-screen TVs, and HD Epson projector and Polycom HDX Array ceiling microphones.

Class time is spent working together and sharing ideas while traditional “classwork” is completed independently at home.
Sheridan College created innovative “flex classrooms” that can be used in a variety of ways and host a number of A/V systems. These rooms include NEC commercial-grade projectors, Dell computers, AverVision SPB350+ document cameras, movable teaching podiums, Extron DMP 44 LC digital matrix processors, Extron power amplifiers and Shure wireless gooseneck microphones. The network switches are Cisco.
