Brookfield Central Zoom Session Hacked
Return To ArticlePolice are investigating an incident in which a masked man hacked into a Zoom meeting at Brookfield Central High School, mooned the class and flashed a gun.
Principal Brett Gruetzmacher said in a letter to parents that the incident occurred Sept. 10 during an in-person class. Two of the school’s in-person teachers were using Zoom to provide virtual learners with access to live instruction. Early on in the Zoom meeting, a person was admitted as a virtual participant into the Zoom meeting who falsely used the name of a student registered for that class.
