Morehouse Parish School District Issues State of Emergency After Cyberattack

Morehouse Parish officials have issued a state of emergency declaration following a cybersecurity breach in July.

In a news release sent to KNOE, the Morehouse Parish Police Jury says:

“Effective 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019, Morehouse Parish President Terry Matthews called a State of Emergency for Morehouse Parish due to Morehouse Parish School Board was victim of a Cyber Security Emergency on July 24, 2019.”
