biometrics

Biometrics-as-a-Service (BaaS) applies the well-established benefits of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to biometrics. Its cost-effectiveness is fueling its rapid growth, as the BaaS market is projected to be worth $2.9 billion by 2022. The statistics aren’t all that surprises. It takes manpower and resources to implement an in-house authentication system. By outsourcing IT departments can focus on other areas and utilize the knowledge and expertise of companies that concentrate on technologies like biometrics. No longer do IT employees need to experts in so many fields when outsourced services  are available.

Modis and LumenVox Offer Biometrics Expertise to IT Deparments

Helping fuel the growth of outsources biometric authentication are Modis and LumenVox. The two companies recently announced a partnership to offer  customer tailored speech and biometric authentication services to companies, providing enterprises with a proven system that works and simplifying implementation of the software platform.
