Too Noisy Lite is a free app that helps teachers monitor the noise level in the classroom. Rather than constantly ask students to quiet down, the app visually displays the sound level in the room using cartoon-like graphics. If the noise level in the classroom is within the acceptable range, the app depicts a happy, smiling graphic. If the room becomes too noisy, the meter moves toward the red and the background graphic changes.
The app provides a fun, engaging way for students to monitor their activity and keep noise levels under control. The app can also be displayed on an interactive whiteboard or projection surface for all students to see.
