Assign Leaders the Others Will Follow
If you don’t have time to get engaged in discussions via social media, you can assign moderators. One of your students can be the leader of the week. They will be in charge of setting discussion prompts based on the curriculum. You’ll only be in charge of monitoring the discussions from time to time.
A private Facebook group is great for activities of this type.
