More about Digiduck’s Big Decision

Internet safety is a major concern for K-12 administrators and parents. This generation of students has grown up with the Internet. They’re used to all things social whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Vine or Instagram. Today’s students don’t hesitate to participate in these very public platforms and to post, text or tweet anything that comes to mind. They live their lives on the Internet for anyone and everyone to see. As mobile devices and online tools become more and more integrated into the classroom, schools are finding themselves tasked with providing students with an understanding of Internet safety best practices.

Some schools are choosing to offer digital citizenship courses, while others are adopting tools that reinforce online safety. While developing an entire curriculum around the topic is a little daunting, there are easy steps you can take to ensure your students’ safety.

We’ve compiled a list of five tools you can implement today to create a safe digital experience. These tools can be used for everything from blocking access to inappropriate content, to preventing the collection of student data, to monitoring for signs of cyberbullying and more.

I don’t think the social networks could be unhealthy on their own,
they are a real neat tool for many things. You can easily build a report on individuals you should be observing,
in chances that they soon begin following you. Benefits: Does
the copy writing do a sufficient job of mentioning the benefits of the product.
