Just about every K-12 classroom has some sort of presentation technology and most often that technology is a projector. Teachers use projectors in a variety of ways to help them deliver classroom instruction. One teacher may use it to display a graphic large enough for all students to view it comfortably from their seats. Another teacher may use a projector to deliver a PowerPoint presentation or play a video.

Most educators are comfortable with the way projection technology works. The projector has been around longer than some of the newer presentation systems out there and if they’ve been in the classroom long enough, it’s likely teachers have seen several iterations of the projector. They understand how it works and are comfortable using it. Technology managers know that a quality image is the most important consideration when selecting a classroom projector. However, there are other additional features you might also want to consider, especially when you take into account the collaborative nature of education today.

Click through the above slideshow for seven features to consider when choosing a K-12 classroom projector.
