We all know about Google’s Apps for Education suite, but did you know about the company’s hidden tools? These are platforms that allow students to do incredible things like explore the human body in 3D, take a virtual stroll down the halls of Versailles, learn how to code and explore world languages without ever leaving the classroom.

These Google tools are out there just waiting to be used, but many educators may not even realize these platforms exist. We’re going to lay them all out for you. The information you’ll find in this article is based on a presentation delivered at TCEA 2015 called The Secrets of a Google Ninja. The presentation was created by Christy Fennewald, a former educator, instructional technology specialist and Google certified educator. You can find Fennewald at her website Fennovation.

Fennewald’s presentation featured about 80 tools. We’ve picked out the ones we think will have the most impact in the classroom and have divided those tools into four subject areas: Coding and Design, Science, Arts and Humanities, Geography and Classroom Management. Each of these Google tools would make a great supplement to any course. Even if you don’t implement any of them into your classrooms, they’re a great resource for students to hone their skills and explore educational concepts outside of class in a way that’s informal and fun.

Take a look at this list. If you try any of these tools let us know in the comments section or on Twitter @K12TD.
