Integrating AV and Video Conferencing in an IoT World

AV technology is increasingly connected to the network, which provides the opportunity to integrators to ingratiate themselves to IT team clients by making AV easily monitored and managed.

Over the past year, we’ve seen how important integrated solutions are to a quality work experience. The massive migration to remote work forced integrators to quickly learn how to best connect their systems to IT stacks so that they could be monitored and managed along with the rest of the technology in the organization’s portfolio.

This development is great for integrators because it allows them to better connect and work with IT teams in client organizations. These are the folks that are increasingly in charge of technology decisions, whether it be IT, security, or AV technology.

As many anticipate a large segment of the corporate market moving to a hybrid model even post-COVID, the growing trend of connecting all AV equipment to the network and making AV a clear part of the IT stack will only continue. Integrators must be up to speed on how AV fits into the IT department’s workflow in order to please customers. Customers must understand where AV fits into their infrastructure in order to get the most out of these systems.

In an upcoming Commercial Integrator and My TechDecisions webinar on April 28th at 2:00 PM ET, Crestron’s Alex Peras and Jon Ottesen will explain how you can bridge the gap between your workspaces and IT teams by integrating AV and video conferencing solutions that can be easily monitored and managed. To illustrate this concept, Alex and Jon will address:

  • Implementing new workplace technology quickly and easily
  • Benefits of partnering with an AV integrator
  • How Crestron brings together your UC and AV experience to create a unified, IT-friendly platform

You’ll also learn about the way Crestron provides value for companies around the world by supporting a native Microsoft Teams or Zoom experience and Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) capabilities.

Join us at 2 p.m. on April 28 for this look at the way you can streamline the way you work in spaces throughout the workplace.
