ServiceNow has introduced solutions for manufacturing and healthcare built on the company’s Now Platform to bring more visibility and security to manufacturing and new vaccine management capabilities to healthcare. Both pieces of news were announced during the company’s virtual event Knowledge 2021.
According to ServiceNow, the company’s manufacturing solutions are designed to connect people, processes, knowledge and technologies on the Now Platform to improve efficiency, security and the employee experience.
The product is called Operational Technology Management (OT Management) and is to tailored to the unique requirements of operational technology, giving manufacturers visibility into IT and OT, better availability with improved response and recovery, and enhanced security with pre-built proactive and reactive security workflows.
The company says it is partnering with a global ecosystem of partners to provide manufacturers with pre-built solutions. Those partners include Atos, Deloitte, Fujitsu, Infosys and others for product quality management, predictive maintenance, security and modernizing the manufacturing floor.
For healthcare, the company introduced its Healthcare and Life Sciences Service Management solution and announced updates to Vaccine Administration Management.
The new Life Sciences and Service Management solution is designed to improve workflows across the front, middle and back office for healthcare and life sciences organizations, leveraging the same underlying technology as the company’s Vaccine Administration Management solution.
It is also built on the Now Platform and will connect cross-functional health teams and streamline initial touchpoints between patients, healthcare and life sciences organizations. It is designed to simplify engagement with providers, payers, drug makers and medical device companies.
Features include a healthcare data model to support interoperability of patient data, a 360-degree view of the patient, and pre-built workflows for healthcare.
Meanwhile, updates to the company’s Vaccine Administration Management Solution include the ability to schedule walk-up appointments, giving contact center agents access to all available appointment times and the flexibility to reschedule appointments to different vaccination sites.
The manufacturing and healthcare solutions will be available in the third quarter, while the new vaccine solution features will be available on Thursday.
