Endangered: Desktop Computers

Desktop computers were large, cumbersome boxes of wires that would need to be placed in inconvenient spaces in order to exist. They were the brains of computers back in the day, providing the power behind what was being shown and done on the attached desktop display. A revolution in the workplace, desktop computers were the bridge to the computational devices we carry around in our pockets today. Desktop computers were the harbingers of the apocalypse that many of our extinct technologies have faced.
