Endangered: Easels

Similar to whiteboards in practicality, the large difference here is that marks on an easel are permanent. An easel is essentially a notebook expanded to 20 times its regular size to be used by a large group of employees at once. It allowed them to save the work that would be erased on a whiteboard, possibly by folding the paper many times until it fit into a filing cabinet.

The easel is on its last legs as a species, though I will admit there is one hunkered down in my very own office. Often I sit in front of it, staring, waiting, watching for something, anything to happen. Alas, its useful days appear far behind it.
